Conferences3rd Annual Public Conference: Multilingualism in Institutional Contexts The UCLA Department of Applied Linguistics invites you to its upcoming 3rd Annual Public Conference on Multilingualism in Institutional Contexts, which is scheduled for November 2-3, 2012. In addition to plenaries Alastair Pennycook, Yasir Suleiman, and Django Paris, we have a wide range of academic presenters and community member practitioners who will address issues related to multilingualism in media, legal, educational, and medical contexts, as well in their own lives. We welcome undergraduate and graduate attendees, as well as faculty, staff, alumni, and other community members.
